Mitchy Slick's new video for "Gone Get High" is a clear visual of San Diego culture, featuring live art from Flaks.
Yesterday Chula Vista's own Kamzilla dropped his new album, "Always Summer." It's a smooth, radio-ready vibe-out project, full of bars. With quality production features from Victor, (whom I'll forever refer to as V-Rock,) and 15-year-old Lucid Luc, the remainder of the album is self produced, and all mixed and mastered by Kamzilla himself. Definitely low profile but steady and solid, Kamzilla has been planted through the scene for a while now, focused in skate culture, as well as touching on battles and live shows. You can listen to his new project below as well as peep a couple old videos; new ones coming! We'll keep you posted.
Chuuwee's whole project with Khalisol, "PassOver," is flame. And with each release he stretches limitations of his previous artistry. PassOver is more clean-funky audio, uncut content, and tenacity that never stops. I love seeing his same girl in his newest videos that he would pull up to shows with over 5-years ago. And one of the grooviest songs on the album is the eight song, "Pusha Lady." Its music video is below, along with the newest release, "The Code," another musical testament of solid character traits, and "Tiger Woods." You can listen to the full 13-track album below, and findall album links here.
Veteran producer, (organizer and emcee,) Trust One, just released a visual with new artist, Sam R i. "Heaven Hell" is a teaser from their compilation project, "Purple Cashmere," available March 20, 2018.
This isn't new, but it's definitely buried in the rubble. Dig it up
I don't wanna hear anything about youth, "not talking about anything." Listen...
